Post by Glenny Palmer » Sat Jun 25, 2016 12:14 pm

G'daaay my fellow bards.

Looking for: Where to buy a Claude Morris book?

And a poem by ex New Zealander "Jack' somebody, who wrote a poem about The Light Horse charge at Beersheba.

Many thanks in advance.

Oh you are a whiz Keats - - That would be the poem The Water of the Wells - Beersheba 1917. I did have a look also for Glenny but never gave Jack a thought because I didn't know that he was an ex Kiwi. Our poets have so much knowledge stored up between them - it is always amazing how an answer or name usually surfaces from the combined efforts of everyone. Well done Detective Keats.

It was an easy one. Jack and I are pretty good mates.
