Dear Cay Ellem
I am seeking information that will lead me to the relevant person from whom i might seek permission to quote a poem by the late Bill Scott i believe formerly of Maleny Qld. In early 2000s i used 4 lines of a poem* in a libretto i wrote for a choral work which the composer Mark Dunbar now wishes to make publicly available . I am not sure if i found it in an anthology, collection or newsletter/ journal type publication so ive been unsure who to approach for the right to use it. I know he was a significant member of the QFolkFed and will investigate there too. But i wondered if anyone in the ABPA kept agent details for an old comrade or could supply next of kin details that i might follow up.

*I dont recall the title or the source publication. Collected works of his own poems dont appear to be on Trove. Ive searched online for the text below to no avail.

"Old pile of whiskered skin

A dream between your paper blankets arched

Sing bravely brother

I too hold a song between me and the world"

Thanks in advance for your advice

Yours Sincerely
