Radioactive sheep

Post by Bob Pacey » Fri May 11, 2012 2:14 am

Hey everyone an old fella came up to me at Beef Week and asked if i knew a poem about radioactive sheep that an old mate of his who has now passed on used to recite.

The only bits he could remember were that it was something to do with the tests at maralinga and a bit about the fleece being so tough that they had to shear them with an angle grinder ? Sounds like it could be fun.

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers Bob

Not for the bloody sheep it wont be - although you can shear Thelma an Louise with an angle grinder - they don't mind a bit but oh boy do the sparks fly - mind you the garden has grown so much since this shot was taken I am having trouble finding them

They just look like a couple of bits of old tin ???

This is a Kookaburra I got at Eumundi Market a few years back made out of roofing iron.

Nup read it up on the internet and it is now acceptable to generalise and call a group of males and females GUYS !

This is only because women are such fragile and delicate creatures.

That explanation does not hold water Honey ... :?

Besides, the 'internet' tells us that Neilson is the author of "Ownerless"
