Thanks Terry :D

I discovered this one purely by chance. It is in my local area, and it was advertised on Facebook. I don't follow the page, so it was just coincidence that one of my Facebook acquaintances happened to comment on it, which made it visible to me. As I said, it was absolutely at the 11th hour, and I only tossed the entry in on a whim, because arts festivals in the Sunshine Coast hinterland usually favour things that are anything but traditional!

As ABPA Facebook editors, Brenda and I do spend quite a bit of time trawling through the Facebook news feeds of various poets and poetry organisations, plus arts festivals and the like - in an effort to publicise and re-post as much as we can that would be of interest to ABPA members (both performers and writers). However it is inevitable that we miss some events and competitions, so that's why we're encouraging competition organisers (or anyone else) to send details to promotions@abpa.org.au

It's a constant chasing game, though.

Cheers
Shelley
