I wrote this last October but despite assurances that the committee was considering the matter as far as I know nothing has been done to reinstate the Bush Laureate Awards. 'Tis a great shame and this is obviously something that the ABPA should be acting upon. We worry and moan about the diminishing interest in the ABPA and bush poetry in general but it seems we do very little to promote or encourage participation.
