Thanks, Glenny. Next year is a big one for the Toolangi festival as it's the centenary of the publication of The Songs of a Sentimental Bloke...and that's an early plug for anyone who might be able to head down our way in October.
And, speaking of the Bloke, Shelley's second place in the Open section was for a ripper poem called The Poitry Competition, written in the idiosyncratic Dennis vernacular style, which is no easy thing to do well. The judge liked it so much he wrote that "...it could be mistaken for Dennis' own work." Maybe you might think about posting it, Shelley?
