Rapping with Banjo and Henry

A while ago the ABC TV ran a program on writing , mainly for school children I think, but I watched it and thought that there was something in it to learn.
Part of the program featured a man walking the streets and making notes about things that he saw on the way and then he put his observations into a poem. He was a bit of an old geezer like me, and what I didn't expect is that in reciting his poem he burst out into rap !!

Made me think how bush poetry might be presented as rap. If anyone had a mind to do such a thing of course. Maybe someone has already done it and I just haven't been there to hear.

I wonder how it would be received by our conservative audience. I might find out one day if I can do it.

I have seen Suzanne Honour perform a rap bush poem but I can't remember who wrote it. :(

I learn something every day Mal. :)

It's hard to tell with those deep north people Heather, it could just be they are troppo. :)
