Like in the army eh, Heather?

I've always thought "General Poetry Discussion" was an odd name for a military official.

"General George Patton"? Sounds good.

"General Sir John Monash"? How about "General Sir Poetry Discussion"? No better, is it. Probably worse.

I could join the army as "Private Poetry Discussion", but I would have no life in cyberspace.

I could be promoted to "Corporal Poetry Discussion". (Better then "Corporal Punishment".)

I think I'd like to settle down as "Whispered Poetry Discussion", but I'm not sure the army caters for that. Have to return to civilian life, I guess.

That's right Heather. remember Christmas is the day before the races out at Tangmalangmaloo. ;)

In Sydney it's the day before the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. :)

You have my sympathies, David.

I'm very reassured that we are all being so scrupulous with our capitals.

For example, "Zzzzz..." is so much more correct than "zzzz....", which would surely raise any teacher's ire!

As for "yyyyy....."! Ugh! Makes you shudder to even punch out the letters!
