I think Zondrae is on the right track but use all three Gold for first, Silver for second and bronze for third ?
Or maybe The Silver Fox award mmmmmm

Sorry to hear about croc, Glenny - great though to see you going gangbusters in getting this happening. May be due for a holiday by Aprils end. The Dawson is such a pretty river too.
Thoughts with you.

G'daay All,
What a bonza mob....we received 129 written entries into The Copper Croc! Thank you all so much.
I'm just getting a tad worried about how many of 'the best poet wags in Australia' (my particular brag to all the eager locals) are actually coming along........I really need a few more to put on a good 'show'. Would love to hear a yay or nay from you.
WILL THOSE KIND FOLK WHO ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND OUR LITTLE 'EVENT' PLEASE CONFIRM WITH ME ASAP SO THAT I KNOW HOW MANY SNAGS TO BUY FOR THE CAMPFIRE? It will be a BYO grog & probably wise to BYO a chair (and a cardigan) as I have about 30+ locals invited to share in your shenanigans on the Saturday night.
Croc is hanging in there despite some pretty rough days. His speech is almost gone so I gave him a pad & fat pen....upon which he wrote, ''the nurse laughed at my skinny legs & said she could run faster than I could walk!!'' (I was sorta hoping for ''You are just wonderful...' ...oh well...) I asked if he told her to go to blazes & got a vigorous response to the affirmative. I think he's pretty excited about the upcoming event, so thank you all for your encouragement.

PS........I forgot to say that with the locals being so supportive here in Theodore, I feel confident that any performing poets that feature on the night would make good product sales.....I just didn't get time to seek sponsorship to enable me to help with travelling costs etc........anyway.....love to hear from you.

Re: Help for croc & Glenny?
My darling croc passed away yesterday. I was with him. He left me with the gift of a full & peaceful heart, & resolution of the past. He taught me how to toughen up, & I taught him what true (human) love is. While his torturous journey was monumentally hard, I really can't remember any personal hardship now. My daughters are due to arrive here tomorrow & I will update the details of John’s graveside service when they are finalised. He is being buried in his SES uniform, here in the town that he loved, and that loves him back. Thank you all for the Love & Light you gifted us, (and the bonza send-off we will be giving him next weekend.)
