We have a friend who is a very devout and loyal Jew, highly regarded in the Synagogue.

My wife told him once, she had heard, that Nostradamus predicted the sure sign of the imminent end of the world to be when the Jews and Arabs make peace.
My wife then cheerily said to our friend that it was comforting to know that the world was far from ending.

He took it in good humour.
