MAAAAAAATE, Have I got a deal for you. This mate of mine directed a little flick called "Australia". It had some red-headed sheila and a bloke who was a mutant wombat or something, but I'm sure I can cut us a GREAT deal ... THIS CAN GO VIRAL!!!!matt wrote:if Manfred ever gets the ad up and running,
you might have to grease a few palms with the promise of bulk billing but i think it's worth a shot

Good luck with it Stephen,
Books for children is one of the few possible growth areas I see for written poetry.
Getting the publicity as you mention is the biggest hurdle to overcome.

Thanks, Terry. I think you are right. I took four copies along to the Ringwood Folk Club last night (didn't want to come home with a bunch of unsold books!) and sold them all easily. Could have sold a few more. Hopefully next week I will!

Re: Marketing...
Have you thought of a suggested children's age bracket for your book Stephen?
I guess it's a bit like how long is a piece of string - I was thinking more of a starting age.
Not that it will make any difference to me - just curious.

Do you have any community radio channels in your area Stephen. They are always keen to do interviews ... I know from experience ... and I reckon they would love to do a kid's poem feature.
Lots of luck ... and where can I buy a copy?
