HOMEWORK PROMPTS FOR WEEK ENDING 4.10.21

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Mon Sep 13, 2021 10:27 am

WELL DONE EVERYONE. There was some exceptional writes in that last exercise IMO. I think it stretched everyone a little as well which is a good thing, we all need to step out of our comfort zone a bit on occasions.

Let's see if we can stretch a little more this week. We haven't done these for a while but I have included 2 photos from Vietnam and the plan of action is to to write a Haiku. A haiku is an unrhymed poem consisting of 17 syllables arranged in three lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively, with a seasonal reference.

or

write a sonnet - Sonnets have 14 lines, with 10 syllables apiece, and no set rhyme scheme

Can't be that hard can it? Away you go - give it your best shot

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
