Homework w/e April 7: DOWNSIZING

Not great poetry, but it's an acrostic, and they're good fun to play with.

DOWNSIZING

Diet!” said her father,
"Or you won’t catch a bloke.”
"What?” she cried. “I’d rather
Not be like that…no joke!
Skinny, starving, thinner,
In outfits far too tight,
Zilch for lunch and dinner…
In fear of just one bite!
No, I’ll find a hubby
Glad that I’m quite chubby!”
