struth woman am I first again oh well here goes
Just look at him now
You could see quite plainly,
that he was under strain.
For he was tall and willowy,
though he said he’d never tire.
Being there amongst the cotton,
out there on the saltbush plains.
For we were at a whistle stop,
‘twas a pub away out back.
The beer was cold and foaming,
but he never touched a drop.
For he was an old time bushman,
a teetotaller and a he was broke.
