From Mt Tom Price to Paraburdoo,
upstream to Joffra falls,
this region of the Pilbara,
where the wild bush dingo calls.
The multi colored landscape,
a vast unending expanse,
with red rock walls, rapacious winds,
and waves of heat that dance.
And waterfalls, breathtaking,
as veils of water spill,
and high above, 'neath clear blue skies,
the white corellas shrill.
This land of many colors,
rich ochre, red and gold,
with sunsets like no other,
a vision to behold.
This spanse thats seen the dreamtime,
escarpments, deep and wide,
mystique that lingers..still..here
true colors, worn with pride.
