THE FAIRY

A couple of weeks ago whilst gardening,I came across one of the most amazing butterflys I've seen, it was the size of a saucer, most unusual for this area.Prompted me to write.A couple of the rhymes are iffy, but I think it works.

THE FAIRY
She flitters through the woodland,
on gentle silken wings,
the forest is her playground
she moves freely as she sings.

Her hair shines gold like cornsilk,
her skin is peaches cream,
her eyes,they shine like diamonds,
her face is so serene.

For her the day is timeless,
no need to hurry home,
she dwells where e're she pleases,
her time is all her own.

She looks so calm and carefree,
like a butterfly on high,
keep dancing little fairy,
until the day is nigh.

Bob,

We have a blue winged butterfly down this way, called a Blue Triangle. It has a very rapid and high flying patten. Very difficult to catch. The colour goes right through from one side to the other. That is the underside of the wing is also coloured the same as the upper side. Some butterflies have a different patten under and over and some are totally black under.
