The poem is good,some thought gone into that, but I looked up Quarks?? Now I have a headache and am going back to bed.

Yes Dave, it's a bit scary to think we are all just buzzing clouds
of charged particles, hope the headache cleared up.

I like that one Dennis. It's different, whimsical and witty I think.
In line 8 I think you need another stress. The word colour really only has one stressed and one unstressed syllable. read it out loud and see what you think.

Unusual topic for a poem. It makes me think of the bloke on the TV going on about 'string theory'.

Regarding the poem.. I tried to resist but can't stop thinking about so I will get it off my mind.
When I saw the title of this one, I had a flash of an image of a frightened duck making a sound half way between a squark and a normal quack - "Quark".

Zondrae so did I thats why I looked it up on the internet, it's quite complex and can make your head spin.

By the way a duck is made of quarks and quacks.
