Being Elsewhere.

Following that informative discussion taking place in another thread, this aint Bush poetry, but is it acceptable?

Topical Rhymes about Aussie Times.

---- in another place.

The importance of being elsewhere - when the deed was done.
Will provide a iron-cast alibi. You should not have to run.
Your conscience should be clear and clean,
if you were nowhere near the scene.

But, should dark stains show upon your shirt.
This, your alibi it might hurt.
Dependant upon a forensic test,
done on your shirt and under vest.

Where you were in space and time
when this dirty, dastardly crime
was perpetrated in a place so bright
you did not see - the warning light.

A place where you should not have been,
this place which some might deem obscene.
A place at times where many feet
arrive to sit and then to eat.

Big Mac’s - fried Kentucky too
can make a big fat one of you.
So, if the stain is only sauce
you still may have - some recourse.

You can appeal to a higher place.
A place where those with style and grace
may not upon your judgement dwell,
here on earth or down in hell.
