That photo was taken at Abbey Road when The London Philharmonia Orchestra recorded one of my songs back in 2007, and yes it did have a bloody big bass drum in it! Couldn't help but notice your Singleton connection. I am descended from Ben Singleton who settled the Singleton district in 1821 with a 200 acre land grant (the town is built on part of his original grant) after being part of the first expedition into the area in 1820. My full name is Stephen James Singleton Lindsay, never fits on a driver's licence or any official paperwork so I must be cursed! I remember calling into the local historian there in Singleton some years back, she didn't think there were any of the original Singleton's still in town? Dad was a Coonabarabran boy, mum was a Raymond Terrace Girl, and I was born in Dubbo ('63) when my parents lived at "Mungeribar", Narromine, then out to "Elmore" at Inverell.

I went to school with a bloke by the name of Richard Singleton. I haven't had contact with him for years but I was interested to find out on an internet social site that his family came from the Hunter Valley. So I think he would be a relation. I think he is in Sydney somewhere.
