Morning Matt and everyone,

First the poem. Beautiful work. May I ask how long it took to craft.? Was it a deliberate 'write' or did the ideas come by inspiration? Did you set out to be thought provoking or were you merely trying to express an idea.? Did you hesitate to post it? and finally are you pleased with the response you have received?

As to the fishing being 'Men's Business', I have a shelf full of trophies from my fishing exploits between '97 and '06 Having taken out the Championship in Bream and Whiting, and also the Grand Champion (one year) in the big family carnival held each year at Sussex Inlet. Also one year I had the heavest Whiting of the carnival at over 1.2kg. (and for Southern NSW that is a BIG Whiting).
