Puts me in mind of a chap I used to work with, he knocked off work every day and went straight from work to the hospital to see his old mum and one day I asked him why he went every day as she did never once recognise him and never knew who he was. He just looked at me and said perhaps not but I still know who she is. Made me feel quite humble.
