It;s on It's on.

Post by Bob Pacey » Fri Jun 24, 2016 5:22 am

This race is on in earnest so there can be no turning back
The big boys making promises out on the hustling track.
Bill thinks that we believe him that the unions have no say
and Malcolms tells us to be frugal and save up for a rainy day.

They all make several promises to make our Nation better,
but how can we believe that they will follow to the letter
what they promise? They have failed before. Have they turned a new leaf
over? Whose going to save our cattle and preserve our coral reef?

Bill Shorten reckons medicare will just end up in the bin
Malcolm says he can't be trusted so things are looking dim.
The promises are flowing I bet the cash piles growing thin
I just know their grinning faces get right under my skin.

Well that doesn't worry me, because our Pauline got my vote
and I followed up with Lazarus who'll take them by the throat,
then for good old fashioned justice - well I gave Darryn the nod
and chucked a vote to Katter for he is the farmers God.

Thank goodness for elections, I say "beauty bring 'em on!"
