Anyone want to set up a poetry commune?

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Sat May 14, 2016 9:30 am

Here's 16 homes plus a lot of equipment - being sold off at bargain basement price - a whole town in fact complete with a hall - couldn't we put that to good use....for the grand sum of $750,000 .... no it's not a mistake.

A poetry commune ?? I think the sight of me wandering about with nothing on but a flower in my hair would be too hideous to foster the muses of beauty and delight.

How strange! That's the second Aussie town up for sale in as many weeks. The other one is in Tassie:

But a bit cold down there for cavorting around clad in only aspidistras, Neville!! :o

And it is $11 million - slightly more than the balance of our petty cash account!

Cheers

As George Orwell wrote, keep the aspidistra flying.
