Thank you again Maureen, for your generous multi-page feature of my Bush Lantern winner "Teddy, Teddy!" - including your pertinent comments about domestic violence and its grim statistics. It is certainly a subject about which I feel very strongly. The home, of all places, should be a haven of peace and safety. Sadly, for so many families, it is a place of danger and fear. If my poem can be used in any way to make one victim feel less alone, then that is the greatest reward of all.
