Original Song

Post by alongtimegone » Thu Feb 27, 2014 7:29 pm

Early last year I posted a lyric. The words were of a song I had written and recorded quite a few years ago.
Its title A Long Time Gone, I chose as my user name on this forum. I wish I hadn't. Should have just used my own name. Anyway, here is the song. This is its first public airing. See what you think.

That's lovely Wazza you have a really good voice - very easy to listen too and I like your lyrics.

Matt You can't be a real bushy without a soft spot for country.
My MP3 player for traveling has a fair variety on it, lots of country of course
and as I'm sure you'd expect fair bit of sixties onwards hits as well.
And just to show I have a bit of class about me I also have 'Hooked on Classics' on it'
Could seem a long trip you reckon?
No Poetry though.

Ditto the above Wazza . you sound a lot better then some of the so called professional singers around Mate.

Cheers Bob

Thank you to all. Still writing songs but not singing them myself any more. Voice has been crap for a long time now. Lost my top range and never had much of a bottom one.
