Keeping the LARGEST dimensions at 600px means, if the length is 600px then the width could be the same but preferably less. Conversly, if the width is 600px then the length could be the same but preferably less.

Walhalla

Post by Stephen Whiteside » Sun Jun 02, 2013 8:09 pm

All of these photos of Walhalla were taken 20 - 30 years ago.

I didn't realise it at the time, but the right hand side poster of these three, "I allus has wan at eleven', was painted by Percy Leason, another of the "Sunnyside" crew, along with C. J. Dennis and Web Gilbert.

I don't know exactly what this was used for, but I'm sure somebody will. I assume it's a gear of some sort.

Beautiful little place Walhalla . . . Mick Thomas wrote a great song called The Ghosts of Walhalla about that very cricket ground. It's on the 1997 Weddings Parties Anything album Riveresque - I'm sure it'd be somewhere on YouTube or the net.

Thanks Doc, enjoying your Cooks tour of Victoria . .. . when are we goin' up the Mallee?? ;)

Cheers, Marty

Thanks, Marty. Never spent much time in northwestern Victoria - mostly the alps and Gippsland, I suppose.
