''Singing For Dad''

Post by Glenny Palmer » Tue Oct 30, 2012 10:05 am

Dunno if I already shared this before....but here is Keith Potger singing (a demo) of my ''Singing For Dad'' which he ultimately released on his album ''Smile Now''. Keith asked me if I would like to write lyrics with him & when I sent him this one....pertaining to my adopted son's grief at not knowing his birth father...Keith said he thought he might break down singing it.
I just sent it off to croc's son & daughter overseas & I liked it enough to share it with you too. Hope you like it too.
Cheeers
Glenny (It's playing up for some viewers. Mannie says right click the 'wma' & select 'open in new tab'...seems to work for some...but not for me as ''I am not entitled to access this file''. Dunno who is...I wrote the blasted thing! Ah well...I tried to fix it but made it worse. I'm good at that...

Right-click on the "01 Track 1.wma", and Open in new Tab. ... It should open your default player and Play without problems ... :)

Not sure how you were logged out Bob :(

Thank you Maureen. Glad you liked it.

Sorry you had such trouble Bob. It lead me a merry chase too mate. Kept logging me out etc, but I noticed that the same trouble was happening on other folk's audio posts too. There is a red ''you do not have permission to view blah blah''........Manfred??? Will you have a look at this please at it isn't the usual way this section operates.

Many thanks David. I've had a closer look at what I've done & think I may have posted from the wrong file. I'll have a fiddle with it....& probably make it worse! Let's see now......

I do not mind the lyrics and the tune Glenny but not to fussed on the singer ?

I think his voice is a little high pitched for this type of song !

Yep it logged me out again.

Lucky i changed my pass word.

Goodo Bob,
It was only the demo made in the garage that he sent me mate. The 'flash' one is on his album. You must be a thick skinned blighter; it usually reduces big blokes to tears....
