MY PLACE

The two dogs dogs sit upon the mat in complete harmony
the mat it is a little small there is no room for me
so undeterred I look around the room. I do not care -
now Mums returned home to her place I can reclaim my chair.

The dogs alas are both missing their massage every day
and I must wash my own dishes now Mum has gone away.
But now I can at least stay up even till 3 a.m.
and things will back to normal go - well organized mayhem

Hi All, a minor technicality - when's the actual 'end' of Post a Poem Week :?: Friday midnight? Saturday Midnight? Sometimes every minute's important when the world of work's kicked back in ...

Cheers Nerelie

Hey, more information please,

(I posted a couple in the past few days..
does that count?)
can it be an old poem or does it have to be a new poem?.
Is there a topic.?
Does it have to be posted in this thread or will we post in members or users poetry section?
should it be included in our index?
does it have to be competition qulality?
Why wasn't I told?

gee I had a day off any I've almost been left behind.

OK, I'll do as I'm told and play Bob's game. Here's a poem for ya ...

A father was out with his son.
They were having a whole lot of fun,
then the father just froze,
as the boy picked his nose,
and said, "YUK - I don’t wanna eat that one!"

You didn't stipulate that it had to be a sensible poem Bob!

AND it's a true story. Just ask my brother.
