I enjoyed that Neil.
It's an up to date look at Australia, I think relating to contemporary issues is something we should work on a fair bit in bush poetry, and you have succeeded here, I think, very well.

Things have changed ( not necessarily for the better ) and you have brought that issue out clearly.

I thought your diction was clear, and the pace of your delivery suitable for the theme.
( I'm not a judge and my performance is low grade, but that's what I think )

good on you Neil - I really enjoyed that especially the last two lines.

Can't wait to get Mum to listen to this one.

Cheers

Well done Neil,
Like everybody else I really enjoyed that.
The only way you have a chance of escaping most of it is to get as far from a pub or town as possible, and even then a few idiots sometimes turn up with a ute full of booze looking for trouble. One of the great pleasure for me is to spend a few weeks in the bush with a mate or even better with my wife and not see another person, although saying that there are still a few great people out there.

Cheers Terry

The production was great ... I'd keep the sound engineer and sack the narrator... :D
