GOSFORD BUSH POETS

GOSFORD BUSH POETS
"And the bush hath friends to meet him, and their kindly voices greet him
In the murmur of the breezes and the river on its bars,
And he sees the vision splendid of the sunlit plains extended,
And at night the wond'rous glory of the everlasting stars..."

Good Afternoon Everyone,
"For reasons better left unsaid," your gentle reminder that the Gosford Bush Poets meet at 7pm this Wednesday night (24/2) in the conference room of the wonderful Gosford Hotel is coming to you a day early.
As mentioned in the last missive, the fifth of this month marked the 74th anniversary of the death of Australia's greatest poet, Banjo Paterson and we hope that we might hear some of his work presented this month in his honour. However , if you haven't got one of the Master's works within your repertoire that is quite alright and there will be abundant opportunity for you to present your own or your favourite works.
We shan't be having a guest artist this month which means everyone will have the opportunity of presenting two items.
Entrance is entirely free, everyone is welcome and we would dearly love to see you join us for dinner in the pub's brilliant bistro from about 5.30pm onwards.
For further information contact me on 0425252212 or me mate Peter Mace on 43693561.

Very Best Regards,
Vic Jefferies
