Fourth Toolangi CJ Dennis Poetry Competition

Post by Stephen Whiteside » Tue Mar 08, 2011 7:34 pm

The Fourth Toolangi CJ Dennis Poetry Competition is now open for entries.

Further details can be found here: http://www.toolangi.net/downloads/2011% ... 0Rules.pdf

In acknowledgement of the dreadful floods that recently swept through eastern Australia, the themed category for this year is poems inspired by Dennis' poem 'A Song of Rain'.

By the way, if there is anybody who has not received the book of Toolangi competition winners that was published last year, and should have (because they wrote an award winning poem!), please let me know.

I neglected to mention that winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held during the Toolangi Festival at 'The Singing Gardens', former home of CJ Dennis, on the afternoon of Saturday, 22nd October.

Thanks Stephen,

For reminding me I have to find some time to sit down and finish these three or four pieces. Otherwise I will have nothing to send anywhere.
