Dorothea Mackellar student Poetry Awards.

The clock has begun to tick for aspiring young poets wanting to enter the prestigious Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Awards for children and students.
The categories cover all ages from five to 18 years, including some specialised sections for schools and children involved with learning assistance programs.
This years theme is " Making pictures" and organisers predict the 2011 awards will attract a massive response.
Entries for the student writing competition close on June 30.
