Good Morning Everyone,

The Gosford Bush Poets meet at 7pm next Wednesday (24/9) at their fabled headquarters, the conference room of the amazing Gosford Hotel, Mann and Erina Streets, Gosford, for another of their wonderful nights of fine poetry, scintillating verse, a song or two and heaps and heaps of fun and friendship and the best part is, you are personally invited to come along and enjoy the whole shebang!

We would dearly like to see you, your friends and neighbours (even your relatives) join us for what is always a wonderful night of great entertainment and fun and more particularly, we would like to see you for dinner in the pub's magnificent bistro from about 5.30pm onwards before the fun starts upstairs at 7!

We shan't have a special guest artist this month, but that only means the very talented Gosford Bush Poeteers get a chance to present two items each and these are the nights that are always lots of fun. Put the TV on record, if you must, put a ring around the 24th and make sure that you are at the Gosford Hotel next Wednesday night for a wonderful night out...and the best part is entrance is absolutely free! It will cost you nothing to share your poetry or to enjoy the works and favourites of others. Best deal on the Coast!!!

Now, I know this little email goes to a very wide and diverse audience so it is with sadness that I advise those who have not heard one of the bush poetry community's staunchest supporters and most talented presenters, Barry Lake passed away on 2 September after a short illness. Barry was well known in the folk music festival scene as well as bush poetry circles and will be sadly missed. Vale Barry Lake.
