Hey Marty I'm in the same boat as Kym a bit to far to travel and I work in a van park so not much time off. Would love to see some videos of poets performing if possible.

Cheers Bob.

The Bungendore Bush Poets Turnout has been going since 1994.
At the suggestion of two buskers prior to this, Campbell Irving and Mark Thompson, I was asked to be the coordinator and compere for the two days and have had the job ever since.
We usually get as many as twenty-six or more poets each morning. Time permitting we usually get two poems each day.
Beginners are more than welcome, readers alike, we're all equal at Bungendore.
Greg tells me that he will only be there on the Saturday. He has another show at the Clarendon in Katoomba on the Sunday.
Chris Woodland and John Davis from the Batemans Bay area will be there as well. We might even see Barry Lake.
I'm looking forward to meeting Joe the Poet and Martyboy, Heather Knight and any other newies that might come along.
Looking forward to catching up with John Peel again.

Joe.

Morning Joe,

Don't forget Lorraine McCrimmon. (we ladies need representation too). I'd love to join in but ... I have commitments on 19th February at Kangaroo Valley, presenting poetry at the monthly markets. Anyone in the area might like to come along. Also 25-27th February Cobargo festival. Wayne is well but not yet back to his usual lever of strength (but getting there) so I can't ask him to add another weekend trip in February. Maybe next year.

Regarding Kangaroo Valley they will have an open mike at most monthly markets so anyone keen to 'get up' should contact the market organisers. Alan Stone and I are getting a mob together for 19th. Anyone else interested please contact me (pm)

Willyum gave Lorraine a mention along with Heather, and I'm sure the ladies will be represented by Pamela Lawson-Kerr of Carwoola, Saxon Condon from Queanbeyan, Denise McDonald, Canberra and more. We always get about a dozen or so girls. It's surprising just how many L platers we get who usually advance to their P's in no time at all.

You'd look great on stage with your helmet-cam Martyboy! It'd give people a laugh for sure!
Do it. I dare ya'.
