Well if my lungs are beautiful, Heather, I am sure that they will find that the rest of me is 'interesting'.

And Marty, if I can manage to keep my weight at something close to my current level, they won't have to dig too deep to find out what is underneath - there is not that much flesh on my bones.

G'daay John,
That's a ripper song mate! I can just hear it going out over the airwaves. I think you are right in saying that you'd get a better product if you teamed up with a professional (good) muso. 'Orses for courses, eh? But please dooo get it 'out there.' It is so catchy & appropriate to our biggest following...the good old Grey Nomads.

May I just make one suggestion? Unless you are referring to the greying of your hair making you look more 'distinguished'..??...would it not fit better to say....

'and now my hair is slowly turning grey', rather than 'although' my hair....' ? Just a thought.

Good luck with it Peely. I reckon it's a sitter for one of our premier country singers to pick up.

Thank you Glenny

I have made a little change, I didn't think 'although' quite worked either. I have gone with, "My hair that's left is slowly turning grey," it ties in with the opening line better too, I think.

I just have to find a musician to take it on board.

Regards

Good job! Great minds think alike... :? BTW I didn't mean you needed a muso to sing it...just to write the music for it. You can sing it well enough & you never know...you might become 'a star!'.... :D

Definitely not something that you can avoid Wazza

You must reach a peak at some point, then it is all down hill from there - that is aging for you though :)
