Milthorpe

I could make coffee
in a town like this.

I'd be 'the old guy with the coffee
and stories'

Sloping streets converge
where woodsmoke
describes Winter nights
and dreams
of
Spring.

Summer laughs.
Autumn boasts.

Small cafe. Trattoria.
regulars.

'Two Words'

No wankers.
No bullshit.
Long black.
Thank you.

You would come by.
Often.
Your latest project on
your mind.

Eyes.

Cheeky squeeze.
Stop everything to talk.

they.
can.
wait.

in a town like this.

I can just see the sleepy, timeless streets of Milthorpe, Andrew.

A place to sit and relax
No BS
just a brew, a chat and a 'cheeky squeeze'.

Loved it
