Official results have just been received from Jeff Close, co-ordinator of the 2018 Bronze Swagman Award in Winton.

Runner Up:
Shelley Hansen, Maryborough, Qld - for "The Storyteller"
Highly Commended:
Tim Borthwick, Toowoomba, Qld - for "Billy Mateer"
Brenda Joy, Charters Towers, Qld - for "Ghosts of Gold"
Commended:
Geof Grundy, Little Mountain, Qld - for "Giving Something Back"
Chris Taylor, Bunbury, WA - for "Swampy"
Hugh Allan, Turramurra, NSW - for "The Girl from Mataranka"
Tom McIlveen, Port Macquarie, NSW - for "Pappinbarra Burning"

Jim's poem will be published in the ABPA magazine and on the website as soon as permission to do so is obtained. The 2018 Bronze Swagman book is due to be released in approximately September.
