Well done to all the performers.

Brenda, is it possible to post the titles of the poems involved (i.e who performed what)?

Cheers
David

Hello David,
I agree with you that it would be wonderful to know what poems were performed -- particularly in the Contemporary/Modern/Other writer's categories of all performance competitions. It is an important aspect of the win knowing who actually wrote the poem and it is the right of an author to know if someone is performing their work. Unfortunately this information is not usually included in the results sent through. I was not in WA but I will pass on your request and see if they have kept records of the authors otherwise, it would be a matter of asking individual poets.

Thank you Brenda for posting the results and a hearty thank you to all for the wonderful accolades I've received.
Not only was it a treat to be part of but the plethora of poetry on offer was of a very high level. For me personally, the opportunity to meet with like minded people was the icing on the cake. Terry Piggot & Irene Connor have had a big bearing on my writing skills (along with many others from the forum) since I commenced this journey back in 2011. What a treat to finally meet Irene and reacquaint with Terry.
As for poems performed, I agree-it's a must for those whose works are being performed to have knowledge of such matters, in fact, I thought it was a given and am more than happy to share titles & authors...
Traditional-"Ownerless" John O'Brien
Modern-"Bobby is Back" Tom McIlveen
Original Humorous -"You Can Escape From Hell!!"

A big congratulations to Bill & Meg and the hard working team who left no stone unturned to ensure the event went smoothly. The venue was outstanding and the township of Toodyay-well, what can I say other than-take a bow.
Cheers
Sue

Congratulations to all the winners and place getters in the performance competition. As Sue said, there was a very high standard of poetry performance.
Similarly Sue - it was absolutely wonderful to finally meet you in person, and to see you perform. You did such a great job, and well deserved the awards you received.
And thank you to all the poets who travelled to the west and helped to make the weekend such a success - it was great to meet new poets, catch up with old friends, and watch so many great performances.
Catchya

Thanks Sue (and congratulations!) and Brenda for that extra information. It should be standard practice for the poems to be identified along with the poets in any list of performance results.

Cheers
David
