Post by Shelley Hansen » Tue Jan 17, 2017 1:04 pm

Hi All ...

Congratulations to all successful entrants in the recent Kembla Flame written poetry competition. Here is the advice as received from Ralph Scrivens of the Illawarra Breakfast Poets ...

Hello from the Illawarra Breakfast Poets. The results of the Kembla Flame written poetry competition are as follows:-

First Place : Jim Kent with his poem "In a Bush Clearing Small".

Second Place : Brenda Joy with her poem "As Shadows Fall."

Third Place : Wendy Seddon with her poem "Mend and Make Do."

Highly Commended : Tom McIlveen with his poem "Sober and Sane."

Highly Commended : Shelley Hansen with her poem "A Red Dirt Road to Nowhere"

Congratulations to all the winners, some excellent poems were submitted but the judges were unanimous.

Congratulations once again and thank you for your support.

R Scrivens.
