Thanks Glenny, Sue and Robyn! If anyone's wondering what the 'Open' category is about, it's not poetry...it's for short stories.

The competition is named in honour of a former lecturer at Central Queensland University. She was the editor of Idiom 23, a literary magazine, and also organised the Bauhinia Literary Awards for many years. She died in 2011.

Cheers
David

Congratulations David - across all three genres is really impressive -- Tom and of course especially Bob as a less frequent prize winner (so far).

Thank you, Maureen and Brenda. I've been playing with the idea of putting together a book containing a mix of rhyming and non-rhyming verse, but there may not be a ready audience for it...

Cheers
David
