I thought I'd post a few photos of a beaut new little bush poetry festival that Maggie and I attended last weekend. It is called "When Bush Comes to Town", and is held in the seaside town of Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula, overlooking Port Phillip Bay. (About half an hour's drive past Geelong.)
The festival is the brainchild of Tim Sheed and Christine Middleton.

Maggie and I had great fun. Quite a few musicians attended as well as many poets and reciters, so there was a great variety of entertainment on offer.
The showcase concert on Saturday night was Geoffrey Graham performing his one man Banjo Paterson show - and he was in fine form.
Just for something different, I have not posted any close-ups of performers - with the exception of the highly atmospheric shot of Geoffrey on the Saturday night.
In case you are wondering, Carol Reffold and Basia Olejniczak are thumping out a percussion beat to a song.
