Birds in flight

Post by Stephen Whiteside » Sat Apr 30, 2016 12:53 pm

I love taking photos of birds in flight - not that I am very good at it.

Here we have:

1. A cockatoo in Tinamba, Victoria (Gippsland) on Anzac Day this year.

2. Pigeons at Parliament House, in March.

3. A pied currawong at Mount Hotham some time in the 80s.

Great photos. The one of the cockatoo is especially interesting as we can see the amazing structure of the wing limbs ? as the light shines through the feathers.

Thanks, Neville. Yes, I thought so, too. They almost look like arms, don't they?
