The Man From Snowy River Festival 2015 (Corryong)

Post by Stephen Whiteside » Mon Apr 13, 2015 9:11 pm

Here are some photos from "The Man From Snowy River Festival", held in Corryong last weekend.

It is a beautiful part of the world, and the festival was a great success, as always.

I can never understand why the sit so far away from the stage. I llke up close and personel so much better.

Yes, fair comment. It probably has something to do with the way the venue is set up. People tend to gather as close as possible to the food, which is served at the back. That tends to be where the shade is, too. The microphone is powerful enough to allow people to do this. Perhaps there are other factors at play? I don't know.

Maybe it's because there's a lot of people in the room and not everyone can sit next to the stage. I was looking at the picture and thinking what a great turnout, but then Corryong always gets good crowds. I presume this is the concert Stephen?

The bottom shot is the Saturday night competition. Yes, a huge crowd. The other two are the Sunday Breakfast. I think they are what Bob and Marty are referring to.

Great photos Stephen, thanks for sharing. The Saturday night concert is the humorous section and always has a packed audience, although this year each section seemed packed. By the way, it was great to catch up Stephen.

It's so great to see shots like this Stephen, especially since I miss out on so many of these gatherings. Thanks so much for sharing them.

I usually tell people that their backside and ears are connected, If ya move ya bum closer to the stage ya will be able to hear better.
