Fishin'

Post by Glenny Palmer » Sat Jun 02, 2012 7:01 pm

Yeah, I know, it ain't really poetry, but I was reading Muzza's Murray Cod one when I caught this blighter. My 6'2'' 18 stone son-in-law, had to hold it up for me as it was too heavy for me..... 8-)

As I was there fishin’
I really was wishin’ to catch me a big’un
and this one was friggen
enormous I’m telling-
much laughing and yelling.
I wish that I’d freed it.
freezer didn’t need it.
It must be an old un
now it’s just a cold un.

So do hope it tasted good Glenny - it looks like a baby whale
