Terrorists with improvised explosive devices are nothing new, eh ?

I remember the fireworks night. We just called it cracker night, and I think we had no idea about what it may have related to historically. We just liked making explosions.

That old verse you quoted is a reminder of a shameful and cruel era in church history, but I guess that they figured that if you are prepared to die for your faith, you should also be prepared to kill for it. They must have forgotten to read that bit in the New Testament that clearly prohibits holy war for Christians.

Yeah Nev we called it cracker night as well and always had a stash under the bed in a box for that special occassion.

You have not lived until a penny bunger went off prematurely in ya hand.

Thanks for the memories Martin.
