Remember when......................the mango's were juicier & sweeter when pinched from someone else's tree. :lol: :lol: :lol:

my oath mate down south we had a Golden Queen peach tree and the people 2doors down grafted a piece of ours on to theirs
our were dam good but when we pinched one of theirs they were flammin better

those were the days mate

So true mate, I like what Bob Katter (love him or hate him) said today & I believe when he said "boys aren't allowed to be boys & girls aren't allowed to be girls today"

A few years ago, a bloke in the suburb of Sydney where I lived, bailed up a couple of young fellas taking mangoes off his tree and they slipped a knife between his ribs, Killed him.
Sort of puts the damper on the old boys' own adventures Dave. :roll:

Yeah they got'em in the IGA here in Cooktown for $3 a throw - dunno who's silly enough when it's raining mangoes down the street.

I know what you mean Nev, I worked on a mango farm at Humpty Doo (up in the Terror-tree) years ago where the farmer hired armed guards from dusk till dawn to 'deter' would be mango purloiners.
