Thanks Bill & Neville - the music track probably didn't grab me either Neville but it worked in well with the poem  Took me hours to find something that would work with it.

I would have to agree with Nev Maureen ( I know I Know unusual )

I thought the music sort of overpowered your voice and tended to become the focus rather then the words. Perhaps a tickle down in volume or and increase in the voice volume.

Cheers Bob

Thanks Bob - still working on trying to get that aspect right ;)

Well done Maureen, (I finally have a computer that allows me to listen to these clips)
I agree about the music being a bit of a distraction though. You have a very good, easy to to listen to voice and wonder do you need any music with it at all! ;)
Thanks
Ron

Thanks for that comment Ron - I hadn't actually thought about that - I think being a dance peom it did need some music but I agree with the blokes - I am not a fan of what I chose but having to rely on Creative Commons work not being musical myself makes it difficult. I certainly prefer a lot of my other recordings over this one.

Great to see you experimenting Maureen.

Always tricky to get the right background music and sound levels.
