This is one I set up for Hoofs - a Brumby rescue organization - our brumbies are part of our proud Australian heritage and yet our Government and National Parks are seeing fit to cull them into extinction.

For the Brumbies I wrote and produced this

So are humans and I know who I'd rather see take a bullet. ;) and be controlled.

Hi Maureen you have struck the head of the nail just what is humane a person laying in a bed just waiting to die that may take many months dogs that stand in a pound waiting for that time. Cattle at the slaughter yard yes it is quick. Cattle and sheep out in the back blocks to some it is not so quick but lingering. Mass culling most time it is quick and clean but photos are only taken of miss haps. I know it is a pity but compared to the results it is the best that finances can do. I as one, should know that was my job erradiation though admittedly I was on the ground which does help.

Those horses you have shown in the pictures are good well defined animals but have you ever seen the low class animals, the ugly and the poor and deformed ones that are in the majority these are the ones to be removed unfortunately from the air time does not allow that so they all must go. Some escape, some do not but amongst the survivors there are some brilliant horses and the rubbish I hope will be removed.

Unless you glow in the dark Bill and I know you are a shining light in the community - I suspect you meant that your job involved eradication   rather than irradiation.

As for animals that aren't perfect - well who is - but I know and appreciate the point you are making.

Cheers
