I have heard many different renditions of that poem by D Mackellar My Country but could you please help with who is is the poet in this recording

I think you will find that it is the lady herself Bill.


search recordings by Dorothea Mackellar and I think you will find it.

Hi Bill. This is great! I couldn't get it to play either....until....I clicked under the play arrow, directly on the 'my country wma.' It then 'saved' & I played it from 'my docs.'
It is very exciting to think it may be Ms Mackellar herself.

Yes, correct Glenny, Bob ... that is the Lady herself and author of the piece ...

yes glenny and everybody that is the great lady herself this is the only recording she did I believe. pity none of the other masters works were recorded by them
