Culling of Inactive Forum Members ...

Post by manfredvijars » Sat Jun 06, 2015 7:14 pm

G'day All,

Just letting everyone know that, having gone through the Forum members list,
there are many non-participating names on the list. Given that some dating from five years back that have seen no activity at all, I'd like to propose that their names be removed.
Some names may be familiar to the members here. My thinking is to cull all the "0" posters initially to clear our list (as there has been no activity) and should any want to re-join in the future, they can ...

I welcome your thoughts? ...

THE LIST

Ya kidding ain't ya Manny ?

Posted 27/12/2012 I also suggested to Manfred that consideration should be given to removing and forum members who have not visited the site for an extended period ? eg twelve months before things get too cluttered ? We have some already who have not been onsite since 2011 ?

Do it do it do it do it do it.

Probably should be done.

There are also members who have died and their names come up on the birthday greetings. Maybe we should alter that function if possible.
Where we have members listed who have died, rather than just delete them, out of respect is there some way that their name could be marked as " in memory " or something like that.

Sounds perfectly logical to me to remove the dead wood from our poet tree.

I wonder if Springfield is still around ?
I remember Springfield from the early days, loved Bush poetry and even had a go at Opal Mining;at Coober Pedy I think.
Also used to write as well.

Better save that one for awhile at least.

A couple of other names seem familiar as well so I'll do a bit of checking up.

Manfred can you tell, if these people visit without registering?
